Objectives

To promote Country Music within the Australian Capital Territory and elsewhere by social gatherings, entertainment member participation and interaction and collaboration between members.

To advise and assist prospective and fellow members.

To assist in the management of Country Music within the ACT.

To organise monthly meetings (walk up concerts) and to hold other events as the Association decides.

To affiliate and, or to associate with other organisations for the advancement of Country Music.

FATHERS DAY: Treat your father to an afternoon of Country Music

CMAC walk-ups (open mics) are usually held the first Sunday of each month.

They provide a platform for singers, songwriters and musicians of all talent levels to perform in front of a live audience.

They also encourage new talent and enable artists to hone skills and try out new material. They're an opportunity for members and guests to strut their stuff, promote original work, and to support CMAC.

Please allow enough time beforehand to enrol on the board.

To ensure timely transition between sets we ask that you prepare your instruments, music and equipment in advance.
